Throughout the years, she struggled to find a natural oil serum on the market that would be nourishing, helpful in making her skin glow, non-greasy on the skin, and affordable. In time, she imagined creating one for herself that she could share with her family and friends.
As time passed, Valeria's devotion to yoga and wellness escalated. During a trip to India, her perspective deepened and she became a certified yoga instructor, guiding others on a path to balance and self-discovery. Her fascination with nature's remedies and the body-mind connection grew stronger through the years; and she found herself spending weekends experimenting with natural ingredients and blending nourishing masks and concoctions for her skincare routine.
As the journey of her passion continued, it eventually lead her to a remarkable endeavor: the creation of her very own skincare company, LERKIN.
Driven by her passion and anchored by her knowledge of holistic well-being, Valeria’s new adventure — the creation of a skincare company aligned with high values — immersed her in the expenditure of seemingly endless time studying the science of skin health, delving into the properties of various natural ingredients, and partnering with experts in both wellness and skincare. These efforts combined themselves with Valeria’s degree in Biology, which served a useful basis in researching ingredients from a scientific standpoint.
